Gr 5/6 Sovereign Hill Camp
Our Gr 5/6 students travelled back in time to the gold rush and experienced life in the 1850s at Sovereign Hill.
The students experienced school in the 1800’s and learned that they should be seen and not heard! The wrote with quill and ink, panned for gold, and learned about all aspects of life in Australia during the gold rush including traditional historic gender roles.
